Hi everyone. Here is one for you hospital LC's. Does anyone have a "Feeding
Care Plan" that reflects the parents feeding choices that gets filled out on
admission to unit? Charge nurse says we need one since nurses complained so
much that parents change their minds at 1am when they hit the wall. You know,
they decide "Please take the baby and feed the baby formula. I need some
sleep". I am responsible for developing the questions for the feeding care
plan and I would like somewhere on it that the effects of introducing a
bottle, pacifier or formula HAS been discussed with the patient. Please
advise and thanks so much. You guys really have been my lifesaver in the last
year. Anyone can email me privately and I will send you my mailing address
(if you want to send me your hospitals care plan).
