forgive me for sounding flip, but barring medical reasons, if moms have
their noses all out of joint about not seeing an LC in hospital post partum
just because they're bottlefeeding, is there any particular reason they
can't um, BREASTFEED for even a couple lousy days? I continue to marvel at
how pathetic it is some people won't even bother to nurse while in the
hospital!

yes I know all too well that many moms decide they will exclusively
bottlefeed from day one, and they deserve mothering help too, but geez,
come on. proper bottlefeeding does need to be taught as well but just this
whole idea of bottlefeeding moms needing to get an **LC visit** so they
don't feel like 'second class citizens' really sets my jaw out of line...

-wendey, studying LC in Montreal, who fantasizes about a day when there's
just simply no bottles offered or given or available in post partum wards
for babies with healthy moms. "But I plan on bottlefeeding!" "Fine dear,
when you get home, but here babies have to have proper food..."
