Today is Thanksgiving Day. Families traditionally gather together, eat
mass quantities of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes,
cranberrry sauce, green bean casserole, and pumpkin pie. There is
usually a football game playing of the TV somewhere in the background.
We eat all day, and then we get ready to decorate for Christmas.
I am grateful for this list and especially to the Kathleens for being
excellent list-moms. I wonder if they imagined 3 years ago when this
list had 200 members how very large we would be now. I am grateful that
they imagined the possibilities.
Y'all have a wonderful day. Drive safely.
Packing up my 2 pumpkin pies, 2 Shoo Fly pies, 36 homemade rolls, and 2
dozen deviled eggs to spend the day with family in Ft. Worth.
