Anyone who would know of any CLEAR scientific evidence of why ( in
Canada and in the USA at least) we would need vitamin D supplement for
breastfed babies?

It is in all the new recommendations... No member  of my regional bf
promotion committee could explain really why...and, actually no one was
very fond of the idea of supplementing breastfed babies otherwise
triving on mother's milk!
