Dear Gloria, I get my fillings with plain lidocaine, no epi because the epi
makes me tachycardic.  Lidocaine plain just doesn't last quite as long and
sometimes has to be given again. But it is certainly a better option than
not nursing for 24 hours.  These guys get me! You'd  think a breast was a
faucet that turns off and on with no problem.  Sincerely, Pat in SNJ
