A physician whose baby had been exclusively breastfeeding told me when
the baby was a few months old that the baby was being given formula at
every other feeding per recommendation of the pediatrician because the
baby's weight was low for its length. I said, "Oh, he looks you?! He
smiled. This man is quite tall and slender.
I know a family where both parents and children are of small stature.
When their oldest daugher was eight, the mother told a greeter in a
church where they attended during vacation that their daughter really
WAS in third grade and to please be sure she got into the right Sunday
school class. At the end of Sunday school, she found her in the
kindergarten class. I guess medical people aren't the only ones who
fail to listen to parents!
