I have a question that I can't find an answer to in the archives. Perhaps
one of you wonderful people would answer it for me.
There is a mom whose 4.5 month old baby has already been diagnosed with
reflux. An internist has seen the baby and has advised the mom that he wants
to do what sounds to me like a PH Probe and says the baby cannot nurse for 4
hours prior to the procedure. The mom replied that the baby nursed every
hour and a half and asked if going that long before the procedure really
necessary and was told that she was lucky, it used to be 8 hours.

Can anybody tell me anything that I can pass on to this woman?

Also, Laura Barmby, if you're out there, would you email me privately?

Thank you much,
Lorri Centineo
