Bravo to Linda Smith for setting a good example about going to the med
library and reading the original research. And for describing how to use
the Internet. I subscribe to Medpulse, and find that useful. Pediatrics is
on-line, as are most of the other medical journals. A lot of LCs are
readers, which is good for the profession, as new stuff comes down the pike
all the time. We must stay current, and our practice must be a blend of
research based science, and perfected craft from observing outcomes
carefully.
