Yes, there may a 1 or 2% difference in the effectiveness of mini-pills vs
combination pills, but there's an 8% difference in condoms, diaphragms, etc.,
(real life use).  We don't routinely ask people to use extra birth control
with them.  The main drawback with mini-pills is the occurrence of irregular
bleeding, not their effectiveness..VNJ
