My experience has been very positive in dealing with these situation. I find
they are nuturing and supportive of breastfeeding and the new mothers.  I have
dealt with about 10 families and they all do well. When I've made home visits
post partum I wished I could have been nutured so well. The mothers I've
worked with are usually long term breastfeeders.

I have not have the same positive experiences with the physicians.  Infants
need water because of jaundice is just one of the common themes I hear.
