Greetings!
Spoke with a mom today who has been diagnosed by her CNM as having
pseudomonas. CNM prescribed Ciproflox, 500mg twice a day for 10 days.
Mom was told that this is contraindicated with breastfeeding and there
is no treatment alternative. Baby is just 2 weeks old. Here's a heart
pull... mom had reduction surgery 15 years ago. Her nipples were
removed, then repositioned. And somehow she is lactatiing! Any
thoughts on her situation. Time is crucial.
Thanks!
Erin Reagan
