This sounds like the spontaneous leaking that can be seen when there is
engorgement, and when (for whatever reason) the breasts have not been
drained thoroughly enough and/or frequently enough. Like on Day 4
postpartum when the baby has never really breastfed effectively. Or during
abrupt weaning. The blocked duct could be a *consequence*, not a cause.
The milk seems to become more watery looking the longer the time interval
since the breast was drained. Whenever I see that very watery milk I start
wondering what the baby is receiving, or whether he's receiving anything at all!
