Hi. I have checked the archives for recent notes on this. I found
suggestions, but wanted to check here for any further info. A client pumps
her milk. If she stores in the refrigerator, or the freezer, it turns soapy
and tastes bad to her, and she doesn't want to use it for her baby. She is
considering microwaving or scalding to break down the lipase that is causing
the milk to begin to turn or to change composition.
Any ideas on what to do to keep the milk tasting fresh in the refrig or in
the freezer?
