Dear Nancy and Lactnetters (especially those in Boston).

Of course, you know that this marketing is against the International
Code of Marketing of Breast-milk Substitutes. I hope Marsha Walker is
listening, as this is additional fuel for NABA's Code Documentation
efforts.

So, lactnetters, the next time a M*** J****** rep says they 'abide by
the Code' here's evidence that they certainly do not (RE: Direct
Advertising to Mothers). Don't let them wiggle out of it by saying that
it's actually the retailer that's doing the advertising -- You can bet
there's been lots of discussion between retailer and manufacturer to do
such a big ad campaign/sweepstakes.

Anybody got a corporate address for Babies R Us and their Parent
Companies? I know that T-R-U has been doing poorly profit-wise and are
going to be closing down many stores. Might be good to let them know
that YOU certainly won't be shopping there if they are spending so much
$$ advertising patently inferior products. "Code" applies to retailers,
too!
