I would like to make a suggestions to all of you who don't have time to
read all of the Lactnet digests and know that you are missing out. Do I
hear that there are "several" of you in this spot? :)

What works for me is to subscribe to single posts instead of the digests.
They trickle in all day as they are sent--1,2,4 or so at a time and I
download them individually. I had to decide early on to not read
everything or quit the list. So when I don't have much time, I read the
ones that pertain to my work. When I have more time I read everything that
comes in. Or, as some have confessed, when I am awake at 3:41 AM ( I hate
digitals), I come catch up.

The posts that I don't read are still here for when I have more time, and
since they are there singly, I can select 1 or 2. Sometimes I will skip a
post, and later posts let me know that I want to read the original. I find
this method more managable for my lifestyle. No one way is for everyone,
but some people may not know about this way of receiving posts.

You do this by going no-mail then signing back on with:

set lactnet mail

instead of set lactnet digest
