I am puzzled as to why this child is drinking two baby bottles of cow's milk
daily. A three year old who is nursing (or any three year old human) does not
need cow's milk. She should be eating more whole foods, fruits and vegetables
to aid in elimination of stools if the problem is physical.
The mother might drop the talk about weaning to rule out psychological causes
and see if this is helpful. In my experience a three year old who nurses
mostly at night is not usually getting a lot of milk but what she is getting
is very important to her. I find it interesting that the Mom reports she has
"lots of milk".
