A mother called me today who has been pumping her milk for 8 months. She
has a history of depression and has been taking anti-depressants while
breastfeeding and baby has had no problems.

Mom pumps 3 times a day and gives her baby about 24 ounces of breastmilk
each day. She is considering stopping the pumping, as she has received
little affirmation of all of her efforts. (Until she called me!) Her
question is that if she does stop giving her baby breastmilk, should she
begin abm or go to cow's milk. Her baby eats a varied solid-food diet.

I know that we discussed this kind of thing on Lactnet recently but I can't
find a good search word for it. If you don't want to cover it again, any
who have opinions can e-mail me privately, or if you know what subject to
use in a search let me know that.
