I subscribe to six different listservs and all are pretty busy. I've found
the digests to be more helpful and less time consuming than the individual
posts. I can scan the subject lines (which is why my pet peeve is
inaccurate or no subject lines) and select the ones I want to read when I'm
short on time or behind on reading my e-mail. If I have time, I read them
all. I value the information and opinions that are exchanged on all of
the listservs I subscribe to. I look back over the past 11 months since I
got my computer and am in awe at the level of professional networking I can
do with my PC. It reminds me of being without my microwave oven over
Thanksgiving-what was life like before this anyway? I'd really feel like
Pioneerwoman without my microwave and my PC!
