We had a call to our hospital based "Helpline" for new parents from a mom who
works around private jet fumes. She was told she couldn't be around them
while she was pregnant, and she is now breastfeeding and planning to return to
work soon. She is planning to wean if it's not safe to keep breastfeeding
while working around the jet fumes. Does anyone have any experience or
knowledge of this subject? My sense is that breastfeeding is better than the
alternative, but this mom wanted something more specific than that.
Thanks for any help!
Lori Salisbury, RN (waiting for my exam results...)
