Well, since everyone else is doing it, why not? (No, I do not take that
line of reasoning from my 16 and 13 year olds...) I was notified that I
passed the exam for the second time, once in 1988 and once last July. I
have to say I am relieved, boy would that have been embarrassing to be
practicing for 10 years and then not pass??
Congratulations to all who are new IBCLCs. This is the most dedicated
group of individuals that I have ever been associated with. Remember
that the letters are the beginning of your lifetime of learning about
lactation.
Congratulations to all those who recertified as well. Just think, the
next time will be in 2008. :-)
