in today's paper there is this short article:
"lesbians appear to be at a higher risk for developing breast cancer than
heterosexual women . . . "the answer appears to be a qualified yes," the san
francisco-based gay and lesbian medical association said.
The research, led by dr. stephanie roberts director of lyon-martin women's
health services in san francisco and suzanne dibble, associate adjunct
professor at the university of california, san francisco, compared the charts
of 1,019 women who attended lyon-martin between 1995 and 1997."
okay, now how in san francisco (chanita?) can call these people up and ask the
important question, "how did breastfeeding factor into this?" inquiring minds
want to know.
