This post is NOT meant to advertise our book. But I cannot help wondering
if the new information in the 2nd edition (Work Strategies chapter,
specifically) might be helpful to persons who feel they must justify their
hours as LCs in hospitals. In that chapter is information on usual time
required to see a mother in hospital and how many mothers would like "fill
up" an 8-hour day. Those #s were put in to make CLEARER the kind of time
that gets eaten up when an LC works in a hospital.
For those of you fighting this particular fight, I would be MOST interested
in learning whether that new information is at all helpful to you. Feel
free to get back to me privately.... many thanks..
