In a draft of an article I am writing for general readers I have written the
sentence,

"There is widespread consensus in the breastfeeding community that babies whos
births included some kinds of medical interventions, especially epidural
anesthesia or vacuum extraction, are more likely than others to have trouble
breastfeeding in their first week or two."

I'd like two kinds of comment from you all.

First of all, have I got it right as far as the consensus in your wise
opinions?

And second of all, if there is not only a consensus but also some nice
research that backs this up, I'd be grateful for anyone who could direct me to
it.

Many thanks.
