<Has anyone had experience with treating what seems to be ductal yeast in a
<woman who is pregnant, due Nov.5 and breastfeeding an 11 month old baby who
<nurses frequently during the day?

Janaki, yes, thrush may occur during pregnany (even if not still feeding). It is safe
for her to use oral nystatin capsules (2 caps 3 times a day) and topical antifungal on
the nipples. Fluconazole (Diflucan) has been used as a one-off dose (150mg) in
pregnancy without apparent problems, but she wouldn't want to take it continually
during pregnancy. Also, reducing sugar in the diet would help.
