Barbara, it sounds as if this poor baby's gums must be killing her.
The solutions you describe, though, all address the biting as a behavioral
problem.  Does she still bite if/when she gets, let's say, tylenol to help out
her teething pain?   I had one that did this on her bad days, and the only
thing that would stop her was **making the pain in her gums stop ***  ---- but
that did stop her.   So of course I occasionally got bitten before I had
realized how much it was bothering her; but not twice in a row, anyway.
