You have my permission to use anything I've written if it's in there and
to send it to the pediatrician.  If I were a nervous mother, the last
thing I would give the baby is formula and stop breastfeeding.

Newman's aphorism:

With nonpathologic jaundice:

If the baby is breastfeeding well, forget the jaundice and encourage
breastfeeding.

If the baby is not breastfeeding well, forget the jaundice and fix the
breastfeeding.
