I'm wondering if homeopathic remedies are safe during breastfeeding. I have
heard of moms taking Rescue Remedy for tension and stress, and would like to
try this myself. It's by Bach, and includes a 5 X dilution of:
Helianthemum nummularium HPUS
Clematis vitalba HPUS
Impatiens glandulifera HPUS
Prunus cerasifera HPUS
Ornithogalum umbellatum HPUS
Are there any side effects that I would look for? My daughter is 6 1/2
months, and weighs 13 1/2 pounds . She eats solids once or twice a day, but
nursing makes up most of her diet. I always refer moms to their doctor, but
I'm not sure if my pediatrician even knows what homeopathy IS (although I
think she's a great doctor). Are there any resources to look up herbal and
homeopathic remedies as they pertain to breastfeeding?
Thanks,
