I started to experience this about four years ago. It happened during a hot summer
when I was wearing sundresses without a bra, and it drove me crazy. I tried all the
usual yeast medications, but they each only provided temporary relief. What
eventually worked for me was to
* keep the area as clean and dry as possible
* dab with vinegar to discourage yeast growth
* use an anti-perspirant to discourage sweating there
* dust with talc - NOT CORNSTARCH! - to absorb moisture
* wear a bra (ugh!) that lifted my breasts away from my body
* change my bra whenever it got damp
and yes, like your client, I did find that in hot weather talking my usual daily
walk exacerbated the problem.
Hope this helps!
