I need your reassurance please. I have a mother who is to undergo laser
surgery on her eyes and the surgeon told her she had to pump and dump for
two weeks after surgery. When she questioned him and asked what he based
that advise on, he said it was standard procedure. She told him she would
have me check with the experts and she wants him to subscribe to lactnet so
he can become informed. She has tons of information to take to him for her
pre-op visit but does not intend to stop nursing her 9 month old. Thanks
for your support. Vivian Derr, PNP
