Just received this inquiry off The Breastfeeding Advocacy Page. Does
anyone here have any suggestions for these moms?

Subject: breastfeeding for PWe's
Date sent: Wed, 1 Jul 1998 23:50:49 -0400

Dear Rachel,
I just discovered your breastfeeding site and am impressed. My
youngest is 4-1/2 years old and has been weaned for some time, but she
nursed for almost two-years. Breast is Best!
I am trying to find information that will help mothers with epilepsy in
their breastfeeding. I have only recently been diagnosed, but I am in
contact with several mothers (People With epilepsy-PWe's) who are
breastfeeding but are concerned with some safety issues--like, is there a
good position to breastfeed in if they have a seizure while breastfeeding?
I should add, in case you find this a bit shocking, that these
mothers are breastfeeding with the blessing of their doctors. And their
seizure acitivity in generally controlled.
I realize you are simply a mother who is doing this website, but I
was hoping you could perhaps point me in the direction of some possible
sources of advice. I will continue my search through other links as well.
     Thank you for your time.
         Sincerely,
              Deborah Berry
