Bacterial infections, dermatologic issues, allergic reactions, eczema all
look red, shiney, and can itch. I have seen some women treat for yeast, and
get their skin so inflamed from the tx that they have a secondary
dermatitis. This usually responds well to topical cortisone cream. A stong
dosage cream (for under 10 days) is a better option than a light dose which
doesn't work and perpetuates the discomfort.
What have you got to lose by trying another course of action?
