I suggest a look at mom's diet. Often when there is a sensitivity to
something in mom's diet, baby will come to the breast hungry but when she
tastes (smells?) something in the milk that will cause her GI distress, she
pulls off, bats her head back and forth, etc. The three things that I have
a mom eliminate are 1) aspertame (Nutrsweet), 2) prenatal vitamins (It's
the ferrous sulfate), and 3) dairy. Most of the time this problem is
resolved within 48 hours--sometimes 24.

With calmer feeds the oversupply is often resolved also.
