Lactnuts,
A Human Development prof came by today to talk resource materials
for her class. I asked her what she wanted for a breastfeeding handout,
and her question threw me:
"If you could give these guys anything you wanted for
a handout, just one handout, on breastfeeding, what would
        you give them?"
I was dumbfounded by the question and decided to ask the experts

The target audience is 18-22 yr olds (mostly); the class is taught by
dividing people into "families"; after getting to know each other they
each are dealt a baby to be "pregnant" with. Because it's a big special
ed - as - major kind of a college, all these kiddos will have disabilities
of some kind, and the "family" will have to follow them through the
specialty care stuff.

These is an incredible opportunity....wouldn't it be great if they decided
to breastfeed these "babies" long-term when they hear the benefits!

But -- how will they know how great it is?? What should the handout be??

The prof says they take this all very seriously are likely to really read
the info.

This should be fun....HELP! Dawn Kersula in steamy So. Vermont
