Well, I've had 2 moms this week with unusual breast pain. One has a 3.5
month baby and the other is 4.5 months. Both cases exactly the same:
bilateral breast pain (worse on the left) that radiates from under the arm
and from the sternum towards the nipple. Pain is not associated with
feedings. Neither has history or other symptoms of mastitis, plugged ducts
or yeast. I remember reading some where that increasing mom's fluid intake
could resolve this type of pain (can't find or remember the source), so
that's what I have them doing, along with rest and improved diet. Any other
ideas? TIA.
