Y'days Phila. Inquirer contained a huge article on infant mortality
rates. One article stated: "Still black babies and children are clearly
the health underdogs-- likelier than whites to be hospitalized for
respiratory illness, pneumonia, gastrointestinal ailments and injuries
caused by gunshots. There was no mention of a lack of BF as a possible
reason for some of these problems (obviously not the gunshots.)

I used to have the BF rates for minority women, but lost them in a
computer crash. I would like to respond to this article. Would someone
please share them with me or let me know where to find them. TIA,

Melissa Kirsch, JD, LLLL
