Dear all, Reguarding the note about fenugreek being a help for fertility. It
is not. In fact medicinal doses of fenugreek, not the amounts used in
curries, are considered a uterine stimulant. It was used in the past to
stimulate labor especially for those past dates. There are other herbs that
work better though for that purpose.  Great galactagogue and has been used
for such for centuries for that purpose, it ialso reduces blood glucose
levels ansd in the few studies using it as a hypoglycemic also reduces blood
cholesterol.

 A new use for fenugreek seeds.  Steep several ounces of seeds in a cup or
so of water.  Let cool and mash them. place on a clean cloth warm and use as
a poultice or plaster on engorged or mastitic breasts to help with let down
and sore spots seems to draw infection out and assist the flow.
