My gynecologist recently recommended I take colloidal silver (5-10cc
daily) to resolve and prevent yeast infections.  He said it works as
well as diflucan without stimulating the development of resistant
organisms.  This is the first time he has recommended a "natural"
remedy, other than breastfeeding.  It took about 3-4 days of use before
symptomatic relief, and a little over a week to resolve the infection.
It certainly compares favorably with anything else I've ever used.
