From one of the co-mothers.

Please refer to the LACTNET WELCOME statement of rules and regs. With
about 2000 professionals on this list, we have reluctantly established that
PERSONAL help messages (as in a client referred to LACTNET posting her
personal bf difficulty) should NOT be posted. If you know anyone who is
doing this, please ask them to contact one of the co-mothers if they do not
understand the rationale behind this limitation.

Most all the LCs on this list are very caring individuals. If we all
referred a mother to the list for help and even 10% of us tried to send her
help, can you imagine what would happen?

Please help us to keep this list working well for all. Professional
concerns and cases: yes. Personal ones: no. THere are other places on the
WWW for this sort of thing.

Another reminder: announcements of conferences are also a no-no. Persons
who wish to share such information are happily referred to LACTNEWS on
LINE, run by Barbara Wilson-Clay. She is a member of LACTNET and thus can
easily be accessed by pulling up the list of subscribers.

THANKS to all of you who abide by our rules so that this list stays "clean"
and helpful to all....
