Marilyn, I have never heard of breastmilk being too acidic....but I do know
a good cure for diaper rashes that are caused by acidic stools.  Pat Maalox
on the baby's bottom with a cotton ball and let dry.  I would suppose that
any liquid antacid would work.  Our local bf friendly pediatrician always
recommends this and the moms swear by it.

PS  Could this be another type of food sensitivity (like dairy or
peanuts)???  Is it the same hcp that said her breastmilk was too acidic
with the first child??
