i just spoke with a telephone client (she is over the mountains and far away)
who, in the course of giving the history, mentioned that her baby, born five
weeks early, would not latch on AT ALL for five weeks. she fed her EBM by
bottle, and at five weeks, with the help and support of the midwife, got this
baby back to the breast using an SNS. never gave a drop of ABM. spoke of this
as if it weren't such a big deal. wow.
of course, if she had called me nine months ago about the other problems, she
would have had a much easier time.
