Protriptyline is just an "old" tricyclic antidepressant.  Not much different
 from others in this family,  which are almost invariably safe for breastfed
infants.  If she and infant are doing fine, I would not suggest that it is a
problem at all. Most all the tricyclics have been found to be quite safe for
breastfed infants.
