Hi All,
Well, I finally got one...One of my clients, who bought a PNS from me,
tellls me she needs a reciept (I forgot to give her one) so that she can
send in "this great rebate coupon I got!" I tried to explain to her that it
was all a marketing ploy, and how it worked (getting moms to use this
company's ABM instead of another because they sent her $10, etc) but she
said "Well, that may be true, but you know $10 is $10". Well, she doesn't
need the money (and I know it isn't my place to judge that, but she doesn't
need the $$) and she is determined to send this damn thing in, and now the
company will have my business name on their list. I am NOT happy about
this. Does anyone have any suggestions on a possible short letter I can
include with her reciept when I send her one ( I have been procrastinating
here, she wanted it, the reciept, last week...) or should I just send her
the reciept and forget about it? I keep remembering the WONDERFUL line
"What you permit, you promote" and I do not want to promote ignorance that
will benefit the ABM companies.
