I think many people object to the IM jab.  It's an assault on a
newborn -- in this case oral drops are the solution.

Another objection, especially among people with a strong belief in
the natural abilities of the human body, is that it's seen as an
unnecessary intervention.  After all, we evolved over millions of
years without supplements.

I have also heard that a link between vitamin K injections and
childhood leukemia was suggested -- I have no idea whether this has
been proven, disproven, or is still being researched.  Anybody else
heard of this?

I wonder if a topical vit K cream could be developed and applied to
the nipple -- this would seem even easier on the mum and baby than
drops?
