HI everyone
Has anyone heard of cabergoline being used as a lactation
suppressant. It is a prolactin inhibitor along the lines of
bromocriptine.
Bromocriptine has been used less and less by our local obstetricians
lately, but one at least is using cabergoline as a stat dose in the
puerperium. Looking at the PI, it doesn't seem much of an improvement
on bromocriptine. Any comments Dr Hale or others??
