Dear Kathy, it sounds like a good start.  As my mom alwyas says "Rome
wasn't built in a day!"  I realize that most hospitals can't swallow 18
hours in one year, but who said it all had to   be done at once?  You have
to start somewhere, build on what you've already taught, bring new staff up
to  speed...it's a never ending process, not done once and then DONE, if
