There are ace inhibitors which are compatible with breastfeeding.
Captopril is one.  "Univasc" is not available in Canada under this
name, so I wonder what the generic name is.

Why don't physicians just use drugs that are compatible with
breastfeeding, instead of the hottest, newest, most expensive one?
Nifedipine is a calcium channel blocker and a good antihypertensive.
Why not try that one?  Why not hydralazine?
