I'm sure you'll get lots of these.
My first child called it (the best I can spell it) - ni-ni. Actually, it was
ni-ni and "other side."
My second child picked up on this, and modified it to ninnies. She even had
a little song, based on the "Libby's" commercial "If it says ninnies,
ninnies, ninnies on the label, label, label, you will like it, like it, like
it" that she used to sing all the time.
My third child called it "nits" and people would laugh when he'd say "I want
to nit" and wonder why a three-year-old was interested in knitting!
My fourth child called it "dits" - from saying "I want this" (I think) but
of course it sounded much like "tits" (a word I never used).
My sister's daughter's word was "naws" - sort of "nurse" with a Southern
accent!
My favourite is my friend's son who called breastfeeding "mercy" (his way of
saying nursie, I guess). He was quite impressed in church when the priest
said "Lord have mercy!"

I think these names are so charming and one of the real pluses of nursing
past the first year.
