I used to question the use of fetal scalp monitors on babies when moms were
HIV positive or status unknown. I thought it was very foolhardy of drs to
monitor baby in this invasive way, when there ARE other ways to do it,
thus exposing baby to HIV. Have been out of hospital for 4 1/2 years, what
is the custom now? Thanks, Pat in SNJ
