I, also, had received a form to become a provider for pumps to MA patients,
but never completed the form because it was so confusing. I have rented
pumps at regular fees, and at discount fees. After the first payment I
never receive any other money. Bills are sent monthly with request for
payment. It is extremely frustrating to have this happen. My rental
station is in the red anyway. I finally have decided I cannot rent to
these patients. I feel guilty, but I know I cannot feel this way.
Our local WIC will be renting the L****** breastpump. I haven't talked to
the woman in charge to see what the fee will be, how they will be handling
the rental, and how many pumps they are handling.
Before the home medical supply store was sold, they rented and sold
breastpumps to MA patients and received reimbursement.
Do other rental stations have the same problem and how do you deal with it?
