Hi to all you 'netters--
I need help!! I have been asked to be an expert witness in a court case
involving child custody. The info I have re: the case is as follows: infant
is 4 months and exclusively breastfed, never had formula, mother is a firm
believer in breastfeeding for at least a year. Father of child wants full
custody and plans on showing that an infant can do just as well on formula as
on breast milk. Incidentally, he has a neonatologist to testify in his
behalf. (the couple were never married) What I'm requesting are GOOD
statistics showing the significant benefits of breastfeeding in numbers and/or
percentages--something other than nebulous statements. WE all know the
advantages, I would like some numbers to back up my claims, Perry Mason style.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated--please respond to me personally as
I'm set at NO Mail. TIA
